Jessica Hampf was born in London, Ontario and spent there the first 6 years of her life before moving to Nashville, Tennessee. She started her riding career in the hunter/jumper A circuit progressing to show jumping. At 18 yrs old, she turned her focus to eventing and trained with Mike and Emma Winter. In 2006, she was named to the Canadian Eventing Team Long List for the first time based on results at the CCI** Virginia 3 Day Event. Her top horse is High Society III, an Australian thouroughbred. She is now based in Auburn, Alabama where she teaches eventing and hunter/jumper students and continues to train with international 3 day event riders Jan Byyny and David O'Connor. Jessica is currenty Short Listed for the Canadian Eventing Team based on her 2009 results at Jersey Fresh CCI*** and Blenheim International Horse Trials CCI*** in England. In April 2010, she plans to compete for the first time at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI****.
