Alex Grayton - Hall of Champions

“These state-of-the-art pads feature everything your horse could want you to have: non-slip, breathable material that insures there are no pressure points under the saddle due to a pad sliding around, and the withers are protected by a slippery fabric to ensure no rubs.”

Ecogold saddle pads in action!

Alex is one of the top up and coming Canadian show jumpers. He is fortunate to have a very talented string of Grand Prix horses in his stable Grayton Farms Ltd, which he runs with his girlfriend Holly Burns  out of their home in Priddis, Alberta, Canada.

After completing the bilingual International Baccalaureate programme in high school, he graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Oil and Gas Engineering from the University of Calgary. Upon graduation, he was able to fully focus on his career goal of being a professional show jumper and horse trainer. It was at that time he purchased his first two top level grand prix horses, Gran Duca and Heros des Etisses.

The fall of 2007 marked the beginning of a road trip training and showing extensively with American Grand Prix rider Kyle King. At the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, ON in 2007, he was crowned National Talent Squad Champion with Heros des Etisses. Alex competed with Gran Duca in International Grand Prix in Wellington, FL, and at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, AB.

In June 2008 he began riding with Ian Millar. This experience has been an all important step in developing both Alex's riding and training abilities. His consistent performances at a high level are solidifying his place as one of the top riders and trainers in Canada.
