Jimmy and Danielle Torano operate the successful JET Show Stables based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. They are one of the nation’s top importers of up and coming, young show jumper and hunter prospects. Jimmy has been on the Grand Prix tour for more than 15 years, competed in numerous World Cup Finals, including the 2000 World Cup Final in Las Vegas and collected many Grand Prix wins.

In 2008 alone, he had 15 top 5 finishes in Grand Prix events. With over 100 top placings to his credit, Jimmy has led the victory gallop in numerous places across the country. He was the Leading Open Jumper rider on the Vermont Summer Tour in both 2007 and 2008.

In 2009, Jimmy Torano and Heechhiem’s Tampa won the $30,000 Vermont Summer Special Grand Prix, at the Vermont Summer Festival horse show in July.

Jimmy is also a Big “R” judge who has judged many major classes including the Pessoa USEF Medal Finals, USET Talent Search Finals, Pony Medal Finals and the ASPCA Maclay Finals. He also finds the time to be an active committee member, serving on several committees of the Zone 4 USHJA to help improve the sport.
